普賢菩薩十大願中說：「恆順眾生，隨喜功德」。

　　佛陀入滅之前，將娑婆世界眾生託付給地藏菩薩。在「地獄未空，誓不成佛；眾生度盡，方證菩提」的大願引領下，地藏菩薩與人間有著特別不可思議的因緣。六道眾生，包含陽間及冥世，只要心中生起小小的善念，地藏菩薩會化現不同分身救苦救難，幫助眾生滅除罪障，學習如何奉行十善，不造作墮入地獄的惡因，進一步累積解脫生死的福慧資糧。

▌平易近人的佛門要典
Outline the Essential Buddhist Sutra with a friendly, engaging style.

　　《地藏菩薩本願經》共分十三品，宣說地藏菩薩的本誓願力、在因地修行時的事跡、地獄及地獄道眾生的狀況、使親人眷屬脫離苦難的方法等。經中還教導了許多簡單易行的修行方法，包括布施、供養、讚歎、禮拜、持名、彩畫法相等。

　　地藏菩薩發願救度眾生的原動力，來自於一念孝心，為了救度母親出離地獄，地藏菩薩立下守護眾生的大誓願。在《地藏經》裡，可以見到地藏菩薩諄諄化導，勸勉世人孝順父母，幫助彼此步上菩薩道，解脫痛苦，因此《地藏經》又被尊為「佛門孝經」。蓮池大師曾讚嘆說，這真是孝中之大孝。

▌菩薩心行，觸動道心
Arouse Beings’Inspiration for Enlightenment by the Way of Bodhisattva.

　　明末的蕅益大師，二十歲時父親重病往生，他為父親誦《地藏經》，地藏菩薩的大孝大願，寬慰了喪親傷痛，也激起了出世度眾的願心，成為大師踏入佛門的關鍵。蕅益大師甚至以「地藏孤臣」自居。

　　民初的弘一大師，在母親病故後，悲痛不已，曾在聽到經中光目女救母的故事時，忍不住當眾痛哭失聲。往後，大師不只誦經、抄經，也廣為弘揚地藏法門。大師五十六歲生日時，更寫下「誓作地藏真子，願為南山孤臣」的對聯。

▌有求必應，不可思議
Grant All Wishes Incredibly

　　地藏菩薩的本誓願力，能夠很快滿足一切眾生所求。持誦《地藏經》、恭敬禮拜地藏菩薩，有種種不可思議的功德利益：
 

1.能保佑生產平安，小孩安樂易養。

2.能保佑全家衣食豐足，免遭災禍。

3.能幫助根機愚鈍的人，增長智慧。

4.能幫助久病纏身的人，增壽除罪。

5.能為臨終親友求解脫，具足善因。

6.能幫助已過世的親人，往生善處。

7.能為累世的冤親債主，解冤釋結。

Brief Introduction of the Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's Fundamental Vows

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha has resorted to merciful and compassionate expediencies in order to enrich lands and nourish all beings. He has been able to fulfill the great vows he took vast long kalpas ago for converting all beings who revolve on the cycle of birth and rebirth without one moment's cessation and leading them down the path of Buddhahood.

Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha’s great vows and deeds are detailed described in the Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's Fundamental Vows. There are thirteen chapters in this sutra, relating the story that Buddha expounded the Dharma in Trayastrimsas Heaven and praised the great vows of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha, who vowed that if there are any sentient beings still suffering in hells, he won’t realize Buddhahood until universal deliverance will be consummated for all and then he is willing to attain Bodhi. Moreover, the incredible deeds Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha performed while practicing Buddhahood, designations of various hells, different sorts of retribution for evil acts conducted by sentient beings, and all sorts of expediencies to help members of families or relatives escape from their suffering, are also depicted vividly in this sutra.

There are superlative scriptures, impressive words and expressions in the Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's Fundamental Vows. However, as the Diamond Sutra taught us that Dharma doesn’t present itself in fixed forms, the colorful manga version of the Sutra of Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha's Fundamental Vows might be another expediency to teach and convert the public except the traditional form of text. 　　馬來西亞繪者林鉅晴居士，從事繪畫已有三十多年，法緣深厚的他，為了契合眾生根性，便許下以漫畫形式來弘揚佛法的心願。他以淺明入世、精湛寫實的繪畫風格，傳遞佛法精要及聖賢成教利人的精神，來完成每部經典畫作。
